About Reell
Reell is a Dutch-German streetwear label that creates clean and minimalist designs tuned for maximum performance. Reell offers a platform to crossbikers, skateboarders and freerunners and creates unique video content with that collaboration. In doing so, they connect to the experience of their customers: young, independent and ambitious people who value both style and comfort. In other words, Freedom to Move. Reell operates in several European countries, with more than 600 stores where the brand is available. Since 2014, Reell has also had its own webshop.
Ambition
Reell already had several successful marketing channels and wants to take the web shop to the same level. Reell's ambition is to increase its online brand awareness and sales within this specific target group; to achieve this goal, they are working with Tomahawk.
Approach
From the beginning, the focus has been on creating and deploying ads on various platforms. These include Google Ads, Branded Search & Smart Shopping, Microsoft Shopping and Microsoft Search in all countries where Reell operates. In addition, Tomahawk provides technical support in the areas of tracking (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics) and Conversion Rate Optimization.
From Tomahawk, Reell was added to the Google Lighthouse program, which offered e-commerce businesses direct support from professionals from Google, who looked on, made recommendations and provided useful marketing insights.
Result
From the start of the web shop, sales grew at about 25% per year, from the partnership with Tomahawk it accelerated and for three years annual sales growth exceeded 100%. Even after the Corona crisis, online sales are still at over 400% of the pre-2019 period.
