When do you present which product list?

There are different types of product lists to suit different types of products and types of website visitors, but when do you present which list?

Product lists are for selling additional products based on pages already visited or products viewed on a Web site. Think of it as the pack of gum at checkout that you put on the checkout line at the last minute before you checkout your groceries.

We can distinguish four types of website visitors. These four types are derived from the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) model. You also have to deal with different buying behavior of people. The types of website visitors and buying behavior determine which product lists you can best present in your web shop.
